Graduation and Gifts by Heather Long

Graduation And Gifts, (Untouchable)
Heather Long
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Blurb:
Life doesn’t come with a script but some moments don’t need one. Senior year pushed us all. It dared us to embrace wonder and chase love. It challenged us to find out who we were as people, as partners, as a family. We’re so much better together. Graduation isn’t the end of our story by any stretch. It’s the next chapter. *Please note this is a reverse harem and the author suggests you always read the forward in her books. Contains some bullying elements, mature situations, and is recommended for 17+. This is the eighth in a series and the story will continue through future books.

Rules and Roses

Ok guys, we are in book 8, EIGHT, of this series and it is still by far one of my favorite series ever. It just keeps getting better and better. Frankie is everything you want in a main character. We have felt her pain, lived her joy and gotten angry on her behalf. The guys, well we have been through some things with them. We have loved them, we have hated them a little at times. And here we are, eight books later, and I am still just as caught up in their story as I was in the very beginning. These are the characters that just stick with you and that is when you know you have a great author.

Now, let's talk about this particular book in depth. Heather loves to kill us with those cliffhangers and book seven ended with Hank showing up at the door. So that's where we pick up in book eight and y'all, IT WAS EVERYTHING!!!!!! My heart almost couldn't even handle the freaking greatness that was Frankie finally meeting her dad. I teared up so many times in that first chapter. Hank quickly became one of my all time favorite characters. Then there was this one line he had, not going to spoil it but oh my word, I was laughing so hard. Even if nothing else at all happened in this book it would have been amazing just for Hank. Other things did happen of course. They graduated! Finally. Such a big step in their lives and we got to experience it right along with them. Then we got to do some amazing things over the summer with the gang. We got to spend some time with some of our favorite side characters. We got to have some insanely hot sexy times. Sheesh, do not read some of these in public.

And then, we have the dreaded ending. I say dreaded b/c if you are like me, you could keep reading about these characters until long after their story is actually finished. Of course there is also the fact that we know Heather is going to leave us with another one of her freaking hellacious cliffys. You kill me lady!! I knew it was coming and yet it still got me yelling at my kindle. Let's all hope August comes really quick so we can climb back off this ledge.

Ruining Dahlia, (Mafia Wars) C.R. Jane ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon / Goodreads Blurb: I was sold to my enemies. And not just my enemies. I was sold to monsters. I should know all about how to survive monsters though, I come from a family of them. We aren't Butchers in name only, and surely the Rossi family can’t be as bad as the devil that’s been destroying me since I was eight years old. New York City, the powerful head of the Cosa Nostra, is my new home. Where Lucian, Raphael, and Gabriel Rossi now think they own me. The thing they don't realize is that I'm more than what I seem.
