Planet Cat by Rebecca Royce

Planet Cat, (Shifter's World)

Blurb:

Tiffany Keyes is the one of the best problem-solvers the Union has ever had. They send her all over the universe to handle disruptions any way she sees fit. She hates them but it isn’t like she has a lot of options and she’s determined not to end her life the same way she started it: in the dead zone. When she arrives on what is not affectionately referred to as Planet Cat to deal with the notoriously isolationist lion shifters she has heard nothing good about, she finds herself in a situation she’s never been in before—the leaders of the planet are absolutely certain she’s their mate. They are strong, difficult, and in charge of an entire planet. Now, they have no intention of letting her go until they’ve convinced her that what they can scent is real. She is theirs. But Tiffany knows nothing in her life goes that simply. She can’t be their mate, she’s not one of their species. This can’t be real. Only it is starting to feel that way. More and more every day. Tiffany is used to complications but this might be one even she can’t solve. She might have to just go for it. And damn the consequences. *Please note, this is a full-length novel with a strong heroine and three heroes who sometimes shift to become lions. It is part of the Shifter’s World series where every book is a stand-alone with a happily ever after. You do not need to have read anything else to read this book. There are no cliff-hangers. *

This is the second book in Rebecca's Shifter's World series but can be read as a standalone. If you want to read the other book in this series, check out Planet Bear. Planet Cat is the first book that Rebecca has released in a hot minute but she did not disappoint. PC gives us everything we have come to expect from a RR book.

Strong, independent, kick A heroine ✔
Hot, Alphas who don't know how to handle their new love interest ✔
Sexy times with said hot alphas ✔
A story that sucks you in and keeps you glued to your book ✔
Well developed characters✔

What more could you ask for?

In Planet Cat, Tiffany is our main girl and we get the whole book in her POV. She was born in a place that most people don't get out of. Losing her mother at a young age, she was determined to make something out of herself. So she became a BA Union Rep and did what she had to do. The Union was her whole world. Until she landed on Planet Cat for an assignment and her whole world shifted. Ha, see what I did there. It is there that she meets three lion shifters that start claiming things she doesn't want to hear. Being the tough chick she is, she blazes on with her mission. It takes the guys a while to break her barriers down and it's so beautiful when they do. Of course it can't be just a happy ever after that quick. There are some villains in this book that come and try to steal the show. Tiffany does a great job of putting them in their place. One thing I always love about RR's books, she knows how to write a strong female.

So overall, I think this was a great book and I really enjoyed the story. I can't wait to see what we get with Planet Wolf.

Taking a Break

Taking a break Hello! I randomly decided to come on here today and it looks like someone actually does visit this site on occasion. I feel like I owe it to you to let you know that I won't be posting any new reviews for a while. I've been really burnt out on reading for a while now and while I do still read every now and again, I just don't have the same passion about it. When I write a review for the blog, I feel it has to be more in depth and informative and I just don't have that in me right now. Also, the book world just disappoints me sometimes and I don't feel like I'm in the head space to give it my all. Anywho, if you are reading this, thank you for being around and supporting me for however long you've been here. I appreciate you. Maybe one day I will get back into it and start reading and reviewing again. In the meantime, I do still review the books I read on Amazon and Goodreads .

Merciless Spy by Heather Long

Merciless Spy, (82 Street Vandals) Heather Long ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon / Goodreads Blurb: The fierce twin. The dark brother. The wild one. I don’t give a damn about labels. I never have. Not when it comes to me. But stay the hell away from my brothers. All of them. I’ve sacrificed a lot for them, and I’m more than willing to give a lot more. If my blood, sweat, tears, and life were needed, I’d give it all up. Every damn drop. For my brothers, there was nothing I wouldn’t lose. Until her. Reckless, ferocious, and seemingly born to match me in temperament and spirit, Hellspawn is not the fragile flower they all think she is. I don’t think she ever has been. She will not be left behind, she will not hide, and she will not take the crap that life has been throwing at her. She’s saved our lives, defended us, fought for us, and sacrificed herself for us. I have no questions about what she would do if they tried to leverage us against her. This is why I won’t allow anyone to put her to t...

Reckless Thief by Heather Long

Reckless Thief, (82 Street Vandals) Heather Long ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon / Goodreads Blurb: The mentor. The doctor. The Vandal. I grew up on the streets despite my older sister’s best efforts to keep my nose clean. I thought I knew better. I worked hard. and made money. Who cared if what I did was a little illegal? Then a little boy paid the price for my carelessness. A little boy and his baby sister. It was the wakeup call I needed, even if the cost came too high. Rough choices made for rough outcomes and when I had the chance to join the military or go to jail to get straight, I went to the military. I paid for my thoughtless actions by becoming deliberate. I paid for my greed by offering service. I paid for my chance at a better life with blood, sweat, and fire. That service left me scarred but determined. Medical school and training taught me I could continue to serve. I walked away from the streets, from the blood, the violence, and costs of doing business. Living a life I ...
