Dirty Devil by Heather Long

Dirty Devil, (82 Street Vandals)

Blurb:
Why do our secrets keep hurting us? Why do our secrets keep coming back? Why can’t our secrets just die? Emersyn Sharpe was nothing like I expected and everything I could have ever dreamed of. She stayed and she changed everything. She put the guys in their place. She had fire and spunk, a ferociousness I wished I possessed. Her darkness called to mine in a way that felt like home. But hiding secrets is hard work and even the people who think they already know the worst, can’t be fully trusted. No matter how desperately you want it. The truth may set you free, but the lies? They keep you bound so tight, you don’t even realize you’re trapped. Milo coming home brought Liam back to us and Boo-boo fit right in. Everything was supposed to get better. So how did it get worse? Why, why did she leave? Why couldn’t she have waited? My name is Freddie Dunlap and I’m going to find her. DIRTY DEVIL is a full length mature college/new adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. The dark romance aspects of this tale continue. Please be aware some situations may be uncomfortable for readers. Trigger warnings can be found in the foreword should you require them. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book four in the series.

Series

Dirty Devil is the fourth book in the 82 Street Vandals series and they must be read in order. DD is about Freddie and OH.MY.GOD. Freddie is fucking amazing. I LOVE FREDDIE!!!! Ok I'm going to try and calm down and actually tell you guys about the book. Don't read this if you haven't read the first three books. So at the end of RT Emersyn calls Freddie and tells him to let everyone know she has decided to go home. This of course brings a range of emotions from the different guys. Hurt, confusion, anger. Freddie though, he knew. HE KNEW she didn't want to go back, no matter what she told him. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get her back.

So poor Emersyn, she makes the choice to go back home to keep the guys safe. She has put herself in so much danger by doing so. More danger than I think even she realized. Her uncle is one crazy ass mo-fo and her being gone has pushed him over the edge. Emersyn is a strong girl though. She has endured this life before and she will make it through it again. This girl has got some gumption and when the going gets tough, she grabs a stapler. LOL Trust me, you will get it later.

Freddie. Fucking Freddie! You guys aren't even ready for him. I think he may be my favorite male character that Heather has ever written. He is going to get his Boo-Boo. We get to see a whole new side of Freddie. He has had a shit life, which we do get to learn about. He has been the "weak link" in the gang. The one the others needed to protect and look out for. He's had his issues with addiction. He is used to being the fuck up. Now, now he gets to be the hero. Freddie is fierce. He is loyal. He is determined. He doesn't care what happens to him as long as Emersyn is ok. He puts himself in a situation that is not comfortable or really safe for him.

Y'all this whole book was just everything. We dive deeper into Emersyn's past. We delve into the darkness of Freddie's past. We see further into what Liam has been up to. This whole series is just a multitude of puzzle pieces and they are all starting to click together. Be warned though, this book is not your action packed, steamy sex, gang life book. This one is going to hurt. The trauma is intense. You will want to wrap these characters up in a giant bear hug and cuddle them to your chest and cry. It hurts so good though. You will come through it with so much more information and ready for the next step.

Now b/c Heather is a freaking mastermind and she loves to tease us, we have some other characters trying to grab some attention too.  There are some characters that have been popping up that I've been interested in. This book makes you NEED to know more.

Ok I could probably go on and on and on about this book b/c Freddie has my whole heart right now. But I'm just going to tell you to go read this book. Please please go read this book. You need it in your life.

Say You Swear by Meagan Brandy

Say You Swear Meagan Brandy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon / Goodreads Blurb:  If she isn't mine in the end, I'll still be hers. It's torture, but it's true... From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Meagan Brandy comes a new, angsty standalone romance about love, loss, and the path to forgiveness. For years, I've dreamt of what college life could bring and while some things changed, there was always one constant. It didn't matter how wild I allowed my imagination to run, it always led me to the same place in the end. It led me to him. My future was clear, and he was it. Until suddenly ... he wasn't. Now I'm a shell of who I was, on a path too blurry to follow, and I see no way out. No way up. They say first loves last forever. That's exactly what I'm afraid of... ___ This is a 152k word standalone romance full of angst that is sure to pack a punch! This review is going to be a little harder to write b/c you really need to go in...

Merciless Spy by Heather Long

Merciless Spy, (82 Street Vandals) Heather Long ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon / Goodreads Blurb: The fierce twin. The dark brother. The wild one. I don’t give a damn about labels. I never have. Not when it comes to me. But stay the hell away from my brothers. All of them. I’ve sacrificed a lot for them, and I’m more than willing to give a lot more. If my blood, sweat, tears, and life were needed, I’d give it all up. Every damn drop. For my brothers, there was nothing I wouldn’t lose. Until her. Reckless, ferocious, and seemingly born to match me in temperament and spirit, Hellspawn is not the fragile flower they all think she is. I don’t think she ever has been. She will not be left behind, she will not hide, and she will not take the crap that life has been throwing at her. She’s saved our lives, defended us, fought for us, and sacrificed herself for us. I have no questions about what she would do if they tried to leverage us against her. This is why I won’t allow anyone to put her to t...
