Dangerous Renegade by Heather Long

Dangerous Renegade, (82 Street Vandals)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Blurb:
The mute twin. The strange brother. The broken one. I’d been called so many names over the years. None of them mattered. My mirror cared more than I did. But he never treated me as less. None of them did. My brothers were the Vandals. They didn’t always understand, but they never judged and they always had my back. I would always have theirs. They were my life until Starling came to us. Quiet. Hurt. Broken. Those words were tossed around along with stubborn, fierce, impossible, and beautiful. I’d studied her from afar for years, but to have her close changed everything. Trust. Acceptance. Understanding. She colored in all my missing pieces. My other half needed her too. We all did. She fought her way back to us, continues to fight to stay, and more she fights for us. She belongs. My name is Rome Cleary. Starling is ours. She has always been a part of us, even when she didn’t know our names. We will always come for our own. DANGEROUS RENEGADE is a full length mature dark, new adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. The dark romance aspects of this tale continue. Please be aware some situations may be uncomfortable for readers. Trigger warnings can be found in the foreword should you require them. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book six in the series.

Series

Dangerous Renegade is the sixth book in the 82nd Street Vandals series and absolutely must be read in order. It picks up right where we left off in Brutal Fighter, with Rome and Emersyn missing. Obviously we do get them back but it's not without a cost.

So as we get further into the series, there is less I can write in my reviews. Only b/c I don't want to spoil anything and it's hard to do at this point. So without telling you any of the major points in this book here's what I loved. Well for one, I LOVE FREDDIE. He is and will probably always be my absolute favorite. I adore the way that he and Em have such a special relationship and how she is helping him so much. In much the same way, Vaughn and Kel are helping Em overcome her past. It's going to be a long road but an interesting one for sure.

We do get to see them all come together and grow as a family. It's a beautiful thing as they all learn to love and trust each other. With all of their relationships being different b/c the guys are different, it takes work for each one. Not just the romantic relationships but Em and Milo's relationship as well. Plus we still get the little tidbits of Milo and Lainey which I know you all love as much as I do.

As always there are some twists and turns in this book. Lots of action. Fun sexy times. Murder and mayhem. We also get to see a blast from the past. They bring Em a little present that will lead to another adventure. As always, I loved every second on this book and can't wait for the next one.

Taking a Break

Taking a break Hello! I randomly decided to come on here today and it looks like someone actually does visit this site on occasion. I feel like I owe it to you to let you know that I won't be posting any new reviews for a while. I've been really burnt out on reading for a while now and while I do still read every now and again, I just don't have the same passion about it. When I write a review for the blog, I feel it has to be more in depth and informative and I just don't have that in me right now. Also, the book world just disappoints me sometimes and I don't feel like I'm in the head space to give it my all. Anywho, if you are reading this, thank you for being around and supporting me for however long you've been here. I appreciate you. Maybe one day I will get back into it and start reading and reviewing again. In the meantime, I do still review the books I read on Amazon and Goodreads .

Reckless Thief by Heather Long

Reckless Thief, (82 Street Vandals) Heather Long ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon / Goodreads Blurb: The mentor. The doctor. The Vandal. I grew up on the streets despite my older sister’s best efforts to keep my nose clean. I thought I knew better. I worked hard. and made money. Who cared if what I did was a little illegal? Then a little boy paid the price for my carelessness. A little boy and his baby sister. It was the wakeup call I needed, even if the cost came too high. Rough choices made for rough outcomes and when I had the chance to join the military or go to jail to get straight, I went to the military. I paid for my thoughtless actions by becoming deliberate. I paid for my greed by offering service. I paid for my chance at a better life with blood, sweat, and fire. That service left me scarred but determined. Medical school and training taught me I could continue to serve. I walked away from the streets, from the blood, the violence, and costs of doing business. Living a life I ...
