Episode 6 (Season 1 Finale) Synopsis: After taking two steps forward and several massive steps back, what was supposed to be a fun and easy conclusion for Lainie ends up resulting in her having to make one of the toughest, yet most important, decisions of her life — without her Little Pink Book, because matters of the heart cannot be strategized. Season 1 Blurb: What is the difference between a door, an elbow, and me? The first two have been banged, and I have not. Ba-dum-tss. That will soon change, though, because I refuse to step foot on college campus with my V-card still intact. Lainie Gray hereby swears to lose that thing once and for all before the end of summer vacation — which should be easy since I just so happen to live in one of the most popular beachy tourist destinations in the world. Sexy summer flings abound. If only my heart would stop leading me toward guys who are no good. After one breakup too many, the time has come for that particular organ to take a backseat. Problem is, to get my head into the game, I need to shed several protective layers of myself first. Oh… clothes, too. Cue panic. I also need to stop using my friends as barricades so much. Carrick especially — my main bestie and roommate. He would be my wingman, no questions asked, but I really need to take on this project solo. Plus, it would be kinda weird having him in the wings while I look for as many chip readers — ahem, guys — as possible to potentially slide my V-card into. The more options, the merrier, after all. So, yeah, I need a plan. A smart one. Something bold… and brave. A “little black book.” Scratch that. Make it pink instead.

Ahh you guys. We have gotten to the end of the first season of LPB and OH.MY.WORD.  So many things are happening in this last book. I'm not gonna lie, I was extremely scared going into this episode. I may have had some harsh words for the authors with how they have done my poor boy. I am still team Car all the way and I need him to get redemption. So yea, you see why I was so scared going in here? So no spoilers. Haha, sorry.

So yea, not a lot I can reveal here without giving too much away. I can say that if you have enjoyed this series so far you are going to be all in on this last episode. Some super yummy things are happening. Even though we are ending the first season the authors did NOT do us dirty and leave us hanging too bad. It was an ending that I could be comfortable with and yet still I'm ready for the next season. So thankful for that. I'm on cliffhanger overload these days and I was not looking for another one here.

So absolutely read this book if you have read the others. You will be so excited. If you haven't picked this up yet, now is the perfect time. It is sweet, funny, angsty, absolutely a slow burn. Just an all around great read for me. One of my favorites.

Ruining Dahlia, (Mafia Wars) C.R. Jane ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon / Goodreads Blurb: I was sold to my enemies. And not just my enemies. I was sold to monsters. I should know all about how to survive monsters though, I come from a family of them. We aren't Butchers in name only, and surely the Rossi family can’t be as bad as the devil that’s been destroying me since I was eight years old.
